@HiszpanInk @domi That link doesn't work for me, is it down or does it geoblock non-Poland?

@catsalad @ipg You could use ketchup as thermal paste, but why would you put it between the CPU socket and CPU rather than between the CPU and heatsink?

@mcc It probably depends a lot on which Lenovos you buy. I have several (librebooted) Lenovo ThinkPads, and they all have quite good Linux support.

@Tristan @esm You could, and you can get TLS certificates for IP addresses from Let's Encrypt now, but IP addresses on the internet are ultimately controlled by ICANN/IANA too, so it's not really any better.

Edited 4 months ago

it is 2025 and Cogent is still not peering over IPv6 with Hurricane Electric, which today for the first time ever, has mildly inconvenienced me (and is the only reason why HE still isnt a Tier 1 ISP)

guess my AS being announced in ARIN has to wait for a bit then

but this is a great opportunity for me to resurrect the original thread of how it happened that i have found in my thousands of bookmarks

@seabass A post like this wouldn't get federated anywhere. There's no concept in ActivityPub of hashtags, if you follow a hashtag your instance just adds any (visible to you) posts it receives with that hashtag to your timeline. If that post doesn't get federated to your server for another reason (for example if you follow the sender), you won't see it.

Perhaps Lemmy is what you're looking for? You post to a community, and everyone subscribed to that community receives it.

@lanodan @Lilith @domi It's weird that outlook.com doesn't have IPv6 but custom domains using outlook's mail service (e.g. uib.no which uses uib-no.mail.protection.outlook.com) do
