@pine64 @ariadne please consider using peertube. (also, despite its issues I would still take odysee over youtube because at least it doesn't actively try to prevent me from being able to use it (by constantly trying to break yt-dlp and invidious), but peertube exists and doesn't have the problems of either)

every time I update something else breaks

current state of brokenness on my alpine laptop:

• HDMI audio doesn’t with pipewire and the bluetooth service crashes with pulseaudio (but works when I manually restart it)
• greetd/regreet is broken and doesn’t respond to any inputs initially for some reason so I have to log in to a tty and restart it before logging in
• when a second monitor is plugged in, regreet chooses the worst possible option of rendering half of the screen on one monitor and the other half on the other

switching back to pulseaudio again for now, HDMI audio is more important than having non-SBC bluetooth codecs

now I remember why I switched back from pipewire to pulseaudio (HDMI audio doesn't work with pipewire)

@mrmasterkeyboard reminds me of how #libera kept "happy pride" in the topic all year last year because some people complained

What version of MacOS runs on this? I’m not familiar with the 17g6g but $2 seems a good deal if it’ll run something recent.
