@Ember Peertube wasn't a great experience, then people complained that YouTube and Rumble were centralized platforms (and frankly Rumble doesn't seem great either).

Odysee was the last of the options I had from my research, and I personally like how it works.

@Ember Going to stick with Odysee as the "alternative" video channel unless there is a good argument otherwise. Because I don't see the "moderation" section in the Wikipedia article as something that will hinder people just viewing the videos on the platform.

while i agree peertube is not a great experience, odysee literally has CSAM and shitloads of hate speech on it, and i hope that pine64 makes a different decision

@pine64 @ariadne please consider using peertube. (also, despite its issues I would still take odysee over youtube because at least it doesn't actively try to prevent me from being able to use it (by constantly trying to break yt-dlp and invidious), but peertube exists and doesn't have the problems of either)
