@ptrc I have a GL.iNet Flint 2 (GL-MT6000). It comes with a fork of OpenWrt and it's easy to install upstream OpenWrt (as I did), and it has more than enough resources (1GB RAM, 8GB eMMC, MT7986AV) for a router as well as two 2.5GbE ports

@kemona_halftau also occurs on my other laptop (also 151.0.2-1, which is the latest version of the alpine package), so it's probably a bug specific to that version

ice-9/eval.scm:142:16: In procedure compile-top-call:

this happened last time too

@kemona_halftau I'm still on a slightly older version (151.0.2-1) because I haven't updated since the 30th of May

@seabass @gwenthefops (5 is for England, in Scotland it would be the same age you can get a driving license at, since there's no minimum drinking age in private)

@seabass @gwenthefops if you can have a driving license at the age of 16 and drink from the age of 5, how can that be <20?

This is the first time I'm posting anything here but I figured this may be the right audience.

I've never run into something like this and I don't quite know what to make of it. I'm the author and maintainer of libgpiod. The official git repository is the one at kernel.org[1]. There's also a github mirror[2] as well as a documentation page[3] at readthedocs that I maintain.

I noticed (purely by chance) that there's a new website at libgpiod.com that's been created recently. I have nothing to do with it. It's clearly AI-generated but it redirects to my github. It's a 2 month old domain, anonymized registrar, protected by Cloudflare and NeoProtect and a Swedish host behind that.

Clearly someone went to a great length to stay anonymous. I'm afraid of falling victim to some new elaborate supply chain attack. What should I do about it (if anything)? Has anyone else experienced something similar?

maybe useful tip for someone out there: you can disable javascript by default with ublock origin (by going to ublock settings and checking the "Disable JavaScript" option)

you can enable javascript for a specific website by clicking on the crossed out script icon in the extension, and also clicking on a lock icon to make it permanent (i am bad at describing GUIs, sorry)

(noscript exists but i think ublock visually looks better than the noscript extension, maybe that's just me)

@kemona_halftau (I'm not using xorg, I'm using Plasma 6 on wayland) is it expected that dragging the window by anything but the title bar is really slow and stuttery (as in, it will jump to the new position of my cursor several hundred milliseconds late), doesn't allow me to drag it off the edge of the screen, and causes high CPU usage by Xwayland?

is GURU as vulnerable to supply chain attacks as the AUR?

@kemona_halftau I don't know why anyone thinks they are a good idea, issues don't get magically fixed by waiting

@kemona_halftau I found a bug report from 2019 about this closed by a stale bot (i.e. not actually fixed and should be reopened). has this really been broken for almost 7 years?

@kemona_halftau @niko if you use elogind or systemd-logind, you can also use loginctl unlock-session from a tty (use loginctl list-sessions to get the ID, substitute loginctl for systemctl if you use systemd). I used it when I couldn’t log in from the screen locker a while ago (I don’t remember if it was due to this or something else)
