@fediplayssnake Vote left (↓)!

The current pattern is boring and #TeamPerfect's pattern gets to the 🍫 faster, while still filling the board.

@fediplayssnake This pattern is very boring. #TeamPerfect suggests the following plan to get the 🍫 much sooner than otherwise, and still efficiently pack the entire board.

@benjojo on a shared system it definitely matters, but even if you're the only actual user, one of the users being compromised doesn't necessarily mean that root is compromised (or you might as well just run everything as root)

@domi @grawity OpenFactory does that too? How does the pricing compare with A&A's (£2/month + 1.75p/MB) and does it have IPv6?

@mcc Have you considered ungoogled-chromium instead?

@maddy I have a limit of 65535. I could set it even higher, but akkoma will reject remote posts longer than 100,000 by default and I'm not sure what limits other implementations have

@kemona_halftau electron is worse because it bundles a whole copy of chromium with every program

@benjojo How do you restrict which users can bind to certain ports in a better way? (I think it's possible with eBPF, but I don't know how exactly)

@maddy @kemona_halftau ...actually, it does have 32GB RAM. How much does 32GB of DDR3L/DDR4 (6th gen could be either) cost now?

@maddy @kemona_halftau anything can be a gaming machine if you play games on it. my gaming machine is a ThinkPad T440p (with an iGPU from 2013), and until late 2024 it was a ThinkPad X200 (from 2008)

(but that is definitely far too much for 6th gen, considering I got a 7th gen desktop for £30)

@ptrc is it called W after the windowing system that was the predecessor of X?
