@thing or if it's only in one commit so far you can do it manually with git rebase -i, picking the right commit, then git commit --amend (or git history fixup if you are using a new enough version of git)

going to bed at 5:40am, good night

(this is too late. I'll probably wake up in 3-4h because of the heat)

@kemona_halftau @nytpu there’s kdotool, although I have not tried it myself yet and it dropped support for KDE Plasma 5 in v0.3.0

@mhoye I thought static on a TV was radio noise being interpreted as an analog television signal rather than from the CRT?

@algernon it's a bit late to do that now but making it a SHA256 repo would prevent it from being mirrored to github

Sven Slootweg, ("still kinky and horny anyway")

reminder: all those 'homemade hacks' for looking at an eclipse (looking through CDs, sunglasses, etc.) are going to damage your eyes permanently, and you won't notice until much later. they do not work.

you have exactly three valid options:
- look through certified eclipse glasses from a known-good manufacturer for <30s at a time at most
- go to your local observatory, they probably have equipment set up to do this safely
- project the eclipse on the ground using small holes but DO NOT look at the eclipse directly, also not through small holes

anything else will leave you with eye damage for the rest of your life. you do not want eye damage.

@ariadne @skyfaller it does? posts from threads have federated to me and I would be very surprised if I was on the allowlist (I have no idea if federation is working the other way, I have never interacted with a threads user)

@hexaheximal gentoo. I assumed it was a general linux issue, is it specific to some patches debian applies?

@hexaheximal does the 6.18 series have the same issue? (I updated the kernel on my server to 6.18.44 earlier today and am just waiting to reboot)
