@amadaluzia

I’ve been using EUPL-1.2 for my licence in all of the projects I have been making since at least a few months ago. It’s a good, copyleft licence which I think in some ways beats the AGPL.

How? The problem with the EUPL is that it allows for relicensing under weaker copyleft licenses (like GPLv2 and v3, CeCILLv2 (which itself allows relicensing to any version of the GPL), and the EPL), which makes all the stronger copyleft provisions useless.

@jade_ish the firmware is proprietary but I don’t think the source for that is even available so that’s irrelevant. I think the issue is that the userspace parts (the equivalent of mesa) are still proprietary. I hadn’t heard of the haiku port but from what I’ve just read about it it made nvk (which is free software and part of mesa, but only works with nouveau) work with the free-but-out-of-tree nvidia drivers (nvrm). Presumably that would be possible to do on linux too (and actually sounds interesting even if you’re using glibc (provided it works better than nouveau) since it avoids using any proprietary userspace software)

@kemona_halftau @niko depending on the implementation of the receiving server, you can (*oma transmogrifies ❤️ reacts from *key to ordinary likes, and every implementation that doesn't implement reactions will just receive them as likes because *key sends reactions as a Like with content rather than as an EmojiReact like *oma)

@plzupgrademe would you happen to know what pinout the 8P8C FSP serial port on IBM Power Systems servers uses? I have a Power System L922 that I haven't been able to boot yet because I couldn't get any output on the serial port. it doesn't seem to be EIA/TIA-561 or Yost, and the official adapter cable (46K5108) is much more expensive than a passive adapter should be
