@solonovamax @kemona_halftau @luana there’s too many commands beginning with sy (even installed by systemd, there’s a load of systemd-*) and systemctl subcommands beginning with re for that to work. on my server the shortest unique tab completion is sudo systemc[tab] rest[tab]

@kemona_halftau I think I understand it a bit better now:

• TAI is time defined by the average of multiple atomic clocks worldwide
• UTC is TAI + leap seconds, because the earth’s rotation is irregular and slowing down, and leap seconds are sometimes added to keep UTC within 0.9 seconds of UT1
• GMT, per its original definition, is mean solar time at 0° longitude, but is often used to refer to UTC or UT1
• UT1 is an approximation of mean solar time at 0° longitude because the sun is difficult to measure precisely (I don’t really understand it)
• The IERS Reference Meridian is slightly different from the original Greenwich Meridian (by 102 metres at the latitude of the Royal Observatory in Greenwich), and UTC is using the IERS Reference Medridian while GMT was originally using the Greenwich Meridian but now I’m not sure
