fuck airport security theatre

how does it make any sense that you can't carry liquids in a container >100mL, yet you can carry an equivalent volume of liquid in multiple 100mL containers? it is stupid

@hexaheximal @pastthepixels GPL seems like a safe choice in that case because you can always relicense to something less restrictive like 0BSD (provided you're still the only copyright holder) but you can't revoke rights you've already granted

@jlink @dpk if you automatically ban only projects which are clearly labelled as slop, my concern is that this will cause people to simply not label their slop (which is much worse since it makes it harder to avoid)

@nelson @tante if you are a Codeberg e.V. member then the poll will be emailed to you

@gabboman @tante the precise wording of the amendment is:

You must not share projects that mostly consist of code written by “generative AI”-tools

so it would have to be quite a large PR or over a long period of time

I think a bigger concern would be if this would cause people to simply not label their slop in order to evade detection

I was looking at your GNU Guix channel, especially how you frame packages that are fully free software but not always ready to be upstreamed.

I’m curious how are you dealing with context loss from compaction?

what?
