@seabass @nafiri I'm quite the opposite of that, the longest I left my bag at FOSDEM was for a few seconds while throwing some litter in the bin just before a talk started (the bin was within line of sight of my seat, but I would've been looking in the other direction while on the way there of course). It was quite tiring

@noisytoot @nafiri Oh yeah, FOSDEM is definitely somewhere I would watch my bags closely. Not because I think people attending FOSDEM are in any way less scrupulous, but because everyone's overstimulated out of their minds and unlikely to be mindful of what they're doing :D

It is not unusual for there to be announcement in the closing talk about returning a microphone that one of the speakers has inadvertently walked off with!
