I can't try the RAM in another computer or try different RAM because I don't have any other computer that accepts DDR4 RDIMMs or any other DDR4 RDIMMs to test with

I really don't know what to do now. There's a hexdump of the error log in the ASMI web interface but I don't know how to decode it.

it is explicitly telling me to replace all 4 RAM modules. I should not have bought non-returnable RAM (edit: I didn’t)

wait, never mind, it is returnable! I confused it with something else

I guess I will be returning it and buying more RAM until I find a set of modules that works (and hopefully there's nothing wrong with the server itself because I couldn't even carry it to the post office to return it)

the weird thing is that the serial numbers/part numbers/FRUs listed in the ASMI web interface do not appear to match the RAM I actually have installed
