I tried looking on reddit but half of them are just someones depression in a meme format. Some of them aren’t even funny… they are just kind of sad…

this post just made me realize that at some point “meme” entirely lost its original meaning and just became “funny picture/video on the internet”

@mitsunee @ReignOfRaining it's not an entirely different meaning, it's more of a subset of the original meaning. internet memes are also memes in the original sense

@noisytoot @ReignOfRaining yes and no, my point is that the original meaning of “meme” doesn’t really say anything about whether or not they’re funny or just interesting or relatable. Internet memes are usually (I’d say 95%) of cases funny or at least a bit too relatable.

@jepyang Hard to tell without a closer look at the headstock but I think this is a G&L SC-1 which is in fact a very cool guitar that I covet (though mine would have to be a righty)
