i just erased the internal eMMC, which means that:

• this box doesn’t contain any (writable¹) code that i didn’t build
• it doesn’t contain any (writable) code that isn’t open source
• it boots from eMMC (where U-Boot is stored) and HDD²

(¹: i’m deliberately doing the FSF trick here, of ignoring mask ROMs)
(²: i’m also ignoring eMMC/SD/HDD firmware)

@fun joke's on you¹, it has an XRadio XR819 WLAN chip behind SDIO, and i didn't bother to install a driver or firmware for that. and bluetooth? completely missing, i guess
