@ptrc ... we ordered in "ponden" (pounds) a few days ago, which thankfully is metricised to 500g

and is the customary unit you order meat or cheese (and sometimes vegetables) in in a full service store.....

we probably had not done so in like a decade.....

(also apparently I'm slightly taller than the highest national average height group (dutch men), I expected it to be higher)
