Yeah NIH this is exactly what it's like when I talk to my doctor
@cwebber 🤣 There is even on the GUI an icon to like and share the skeleton.
The skeleton social network!
@cwebber ID Match
@cwebber I don't think it's slop btw, it's too consistent for that. just a really weird stock image
I suspect its a stock image, too “perfect” to be AI, not weird enough to be on /r/wtfstockphotos
# good enough to be on the header of an article about a diet planner person it seems tho@elexia yeah that's my sense as well
@davidrevoy it does seem like someone had fun making that GUI though
@davidrevoy @cwebber the skeleton also has a strong wifi connection, but no bluetooth devices connectes
@cwebber image generation is still wonky with text and I don't think it will accurately represent a double sided measuring tape (cm on one side, inches on the other) without fucking something obvious up.
@cwebber The position of the thumbs supporting the tablet suggests it's being held up by wires or something.
@cwebber nothing in this image seems natural.
```
01 00 1 111 00 11
111 00 111 0101
1100 00 110101 0001 110
001 00110 00 1100 1
```
@cwebber @davidrevoy 1 100 1101 0011
@kate @davidrevoy @cwebber and seems to have something strong inside his stomach ! 🤢😂
@elexia @cwebber the measuring tape have both horizontal and vertical number. I thought maybe there was two tape but when it loop thr underside has the other style and both centimeters and inches are visible in both style.
It's slop.
Also the skeleton is not symetrical and go weird at the shoulder which don't match the prototype with placeholder image vibe of that screen.
Please, help yourself to some broccoli or a lemon while we discuss the reasons for your brain being at 50%.
@cwebber The detail on the measuring tape is consistent so I'm guessing just a strange stock image.
@cwebber I couldn't help noticing some details in that picture and imagining their conversation.
Doctor: Your lungs are, pardon my bedside manner, fucked.
Patient: How about my stomach? Scan says only 25%.
Doctor: Kidneys. You just think that's showing your stomach because your neurofunctional rating is 50%. Stage 4 chronic kidney disease. If your Glomerular Filtration Rate falls much further, uh, let's just say now is a good time to consider your options, such as an organ transplant.
Patient: And my brain?
Doctor: Again, organ transplant. Years of Austerity have placed limits on what the NHS can offer, so all I can recommend is a swap-out for this tomato, lemon, apple, or—
Patient: —cauliflower!
@faoluin Yeah that's my read also
@davidrevoy @cwebber "bone buddies"... no, wait
Finally found what was icking me. The iPad (I think I see a retouched power button bottom center) is out of focus top right, while the graphic is not. Stock photo with slopped infographic? The skeleton's spine is pretty off.
@cwebber my doctor never lets me snack on the disturbingly perfect fruit and vegetables. They are only presented in case I've never seen such things and wouldn't otherwise know what to look for
@thgie I think the interface was just pasted on top of the "device"
@elexia @cwebber @davidrevoy Not sure if that measuring tape can be of any use with it being mostly numbers between 30 and 50 over and over again (edit: there's 70s as well I hope it's double sided and one side is inches and the other one is centimeters)
@noisytoot @cwebber The lines between 41 and 42 on the tape measure seem to be off. I'm counting... 7, not counting the lines that strike between 41 & 42s digits. It should be 9. It appears consistent, but... also wrong.
Reference picture attached from a tape measure I had in the drawer.
Yes, there could be different scales used, but... 7 notches doesn't make much sense to me.
Edit: I'm an ignorant european, and forgot that inches exist. 7 notches make sense for inches, and inches are more likely in context of the image.
@algernon @noisytoot @cwebber 7 notches makes sense for a tape measure that's in inches (they're usually split into 8th and then 16ths etc)
@laktozo @noisytoot @cwebber Ah. Sorry for the noise then!
@tiesselune @cwebber @davidrevoy now that I look at it on a bigger screen it it does kinda get blurry in one spot, plus the twists aren't right. so I correct myself.
@tiesselune @cwebber @davidrevoy this here. it just seems to end instead of looking around to where the next higher numbers should be. would have fooled me on the phone screen and even on the PC I had to really make it bigger. also the skeleton is wonky as someone pointed out.
@laktozo @algernon @noisytoot @cwebber it's one of those tape measures that has inches on one side and centimetres on the other.
I had a feeling at first that the picture on the tablet was photoshopped from a video game, because it has that type of aesthetic.
