this is actually the first gamedev thing I have done that hasn't been abandoned at a barely playable state - nearly everything except some textures and audio is ready

Since I've been using a laptop to make it, I will warn everyone: you CANNOT use a trackpad to play it, doing so will result in failing badly. A mouse is basically required in practice.

@hexaheximal what about a trackpoint?

@noisytoot it would probably work better but it still wouldn't be quite as good as a mouse
