in this case “bad internet” means “i have EVIL whitelists that disallow me to access the outer internet almost every single day”
so i circumvent it using anti-whitelists vpn
some configurations stop working, and so i have to endlessly refresh the vpn list and url test every single config until i’ll find one that works

@noisytoot @therwi not sure what was up with ipv6, im assuming it was either a routing issue or dns caching, my instance admin disabled ipv6 completely for the time being though since there were other ipv6-related issues others were encountering

@noisytoot @therwi iceshrimp.net seems to be the only instance software which had difficulty federating with us during the ipv6 breakage, all other software seemed to handle things perfectly (albeit delayed by several seconds)
