it boots!!

for some reason my nvme ssd doesn't show up in the boot menu (even though it works once booted) and only boots from usb using a usb<->sata adapter (although after a reboot it showed a second usb device in the boot menu which it didn't initially, but still not the nvme drive), so I'll need to figure out how to get my bootloader on a different device tomorrow (or preferably figure out and fix the issue, but I don't know how to do that)

also I was so hyperfocused on this that I forgot to eat anything (except breakfast and a few fruits) until 3am
