how come hashtags in posts from sharkey link to that hashtag on my instance, but hashtags in posts from mastodon link to that hashtag on the original post's instance?

@kemona_halftau posts from akkoma link the hashtag on the remote instance for you? that's odd, because on mice.tel posts from both mastodon and akkoma link to the hashtag on mice.tel

@noisytoot mfm parses it as a normal hashtag (so it links to https://sharkey.skydevs.me/tags/ajskldfjasdfoiawje)

@kemona_halftau this explains what I was seeing, but not hashtags on a post from akkoma being linked on the remote instance from sharkey (sharkey is parsing everything as mfm, so everything gets reparsed as a local hashtag, whereas akkoma is only doing that for mfm posts, so only posts from sharkey (which are always mfm and do not contain FEP-c16b-compliant html) are converted to use local hashtags)
