@laru does it? I always had missing replies on fedi.mldchan.dev and I almost always had 0 favs and 0 boosts on any post I looked at

@laru in the case I decide for pleroma I will run it under pl.mldkyt.com

@mldkyt it always fetches favorites from your followed accounts, and if the favorited post was a reply, it will also recursively fetch the reply chain until it reaches the origin post, it doesnt fetch the entire thread tho

@laru well I know it fetches up (reply chains) but it doesn't fetch replies on posts unless those somehow federate to your instance

@laru on Mastodon regardless of you following anyone it will always fetch a post replies when opened and it also seems to be showing favorites and boosts correctly

@laru oh just opened the post on this instance and look at that, replies got federated and even if the instance is new there's favorites and boosts counts

@laru yeah since reactions are part of chuckya and I really don't mind reactions being fetched much, replies are more important
