“in that case, you may enjoy oneshot. its $10 on itch.io and on steam. it is not an rpg, it is not a horror game, it does not have battles or enemies, there are no quick-time events, you can take your time, and it has a couple accessibility features (e.g. auto-run and colorblind accessibility). the soundtrack is pleasant, the graphics are simplistic but beautiful, and the story is one of the best and most immersive and beautiful stories i have ever seen in a video game. the game messes with your emotions in the best way possible. gameplay-wise, its fairly low-energy, there are a couple parts that do require having multiple things open at once and moving windows around and switching back and forth between the game window and another window, but otherwise it was fully playable for me, even with my rsi. i never once used any of my hacks or keyboard macros (e.g. slowing down time, timed-keypresses, sticky keys) while playing. the game is a bit dialog-heavy at times, but it is not a visual novel. the only complaints i had with oneshot are randomly-moving npcs which might be difficult to interact with, and the lack of a dialog history/review system. the latter is an engine limitation, the former can be easily fixed by editing a few files. i will try not to spoil the game too much, but oneshot is able to interact with your computer in ways you might not expect. i recommend running either the windows version on a windows machine (make sure it is activated enough to personalize things), or the linux version in a supported desktop environment (e.g. kde plasma 5, xfce, cinnamon, mate, lxde). other desktops do work for most parts of the game (e.g. plasms 6, wayland window managers like swaywm (niri doesnt work for some reason) (an easy way to check if a wayland desktop/wm will work or not is to open xeyes and another x11 app and move both around and check that the eyes properly look at the mouse pointer)). if you cant use one of those, there is also oneshot world machine edition on steam, which simulates a desktop environment but is otherwise mostly the same game. please be careful when searching about this game online, there are a lot of spoilers basically everywhere you look. if you ever have problems or get stuck, feel free to ask me for help.”
