Hmm my cpu decided to not run faster than 400MHz

@SRAZKVT @tay Your friendly neighbourhood pedant would like to point out that the value measured in MHz is the clock speed, and most operations won't take exactly one clock cycle to complete

@tay Reminds me of the time when my old MacBook's battery was broken. It only runs fast when it has a working built-in battery.

@livho i think my laptop thought the psu I connected wasn’t powerful enough.

@livho ohh, it probably wasn’t the psu, it was the usb cable

@seabass @tay it's okay, i don't consider cpus that take more than one clock cycle on one instruction (ok, not quite, it might for memory / code fetch but that's about it)

@tay my laptop sometimes gets stuck at 800MHz and suspending and unsuspending fixes it
