@kemona_halftau I voted flac and ogg opus but wavpack is also cool (because of its ability to compress lossily but with an error correction file you can use to restore the lossless version). I don't see any reason to use mp3/aac/vorbis except compatibility because opus is better, and storing audio as wav uses too much disk space (and the CPU time spent on compression is insignificant compared to the disk space savings) (the same applies for raw data, but who stores audio as raw data?)
