people who think a hypervisor bypass for denuvo is a real crack are the same kind of people who thinks that kernel level anticheat is "malware"

kernel level anti cheat isn't ""malware"" because they were made by verified developers mfer. anything that runs at the kernel level doesnt immediately mean its malicious, ur mouse driver runs at the kernel level, is that malware? obviously Not, so shut up !!!!!!!

so if ur running a game at an even lower level than at the kernel level , ur just being hypocritical now lol

@noisytoot when i say "malware" i mean is it doing smth nasty? like... Is it getting ur credit card information or anything like that as an example?

@meowmaxing It’s a proprietary obfuscated blob with full access to your computer, so it could be doing that, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that it is malware (it’s still a security risk and I wouldn’t let proprietary software anywhere near my kernel). But I have a wider definition of “malware” and consider obfuscation intended to prevent you from understanding and modifying the code (i.e. attempting to take control over your own computer away from you) to be inherently malicious, and kernel level anticheat invariably does this.
