…I think I got KWallet working such that it automatically unlocks upon sign-in?

I haven’t given KWallet a chance in such a long time because the last time I encountered it in a complete distro, it would ask me to create a wallet, and no matter what options I chose out of the ones it gave me, it would error out when I clicked “next”.

As it wasn’t a feature I was going out of my way to use, I didn’t look any further, and disabled it out of frustration.

@maddy I had that working on my Alpine Linux laptop for a few days after installing it before a KDE update broke it and I never figured out why or managed to fix it.

It apparently requires that the KWallet password be the same as your login password and that pam_kwallet5.so gets loaded (but I have that and it still doesn't work, and rebuilding it also didn't help)
