@fun @vermaden Unfortunately its a lot easier for *bsd devs to complain about why desktops designed primarily for and by linux users dedicate more time towards linux and not their OS.
freebsd devs/users should obviously be expecting to have to maintain this stuff themselves. this guy is whining about nothing because they already have to backport Consolekit for gnome, as an example. They had to do the same thing for DRM and all the linux kernel driver translation layer stuff to patch it in, so once again, not sure why _this_ is a problem. But no, its clearly some conspiracy to kill off freebsd on the desktop obviously as you can tell, which has a total of maybe 5 users anyway.
