@mntmn IMO if you need alcohol to feel relaxed or have fun, then you might have a problem.

(you guessed it, I don't do alcohol either!)

@fun yeah for me when i was still drinking to "relax" (now sober for 5.5 years) it was mostly because i didn't know i have adhd (and wasn't out as trans/enby etc), so, quite dangerous self-medication. others have other reasons of course.

Anecdote: I remember waking up in the house of tea at 38c3 and Yoko Kanno's bebop soundtrack was playing some cute tune, and I remember being so happy to be surrounded by all these nerds who had the same overlap of love for Cowboy Bebop, Linux, and whatever else as me :)
