oh good, DirecTV pushed out a firmware update and now my cable box is pushing some AI slop called glance AI

to disable it:

on your genie remote, hit the home button.

go to settings.

go to apps.

go to see all apps.

select glance AI.

select disable.

this is only for genie HS15 and Gemini boxes. I don't think the older ones have gotten this anti feature yet.
