The sound and sensation of snow crunching under my feet is something that brings back some fond memories of 10 years ago when I used to live in Bavaria. I did not expect to find something positive about the weather these days.

Back then, it wasn't rare that I had to make my way through ~20cm of snow to get to school, and we used to play in the snow with a sleigh riding down a nearby hill. During my time in Hanover, I don't think I ever saw snow that lasted for longer than a day.
