the way that dickheads from matrix.org keep on raiding irc rooms bridged to matrix makes me think that bridging to matrix is a mistake

also it seems that the best thing you can do as a matrix homeserver admin is to reject all messages from matrix.org

@domi i think i recall one homeserver that rejected private message requests from matrix.org but now i'm worried i somehow imagined it

@Lilith @domi I think it's possible to reject private message requests but not to reject in-room messages from a certain server (as a server admin, room admin can block servers from a room).

Even if it was possible, you'd end up blocking half the network because far too much of it is centralized on matrix.org.

Matrix is a mistake.
