well this is bad

my laptop has just decided to grow scanlines

first i thought it was just the gpu driver crapping itself so i rebooted but it's on bios splash screen and everywhere

once i get to my destination i will try taking it apart and messing with the display cable, maybe it just came loose or something but not expecting much

not sure how much i can actually use this...

i mean technically i can read stuff but

@q66 that's the ribbon cables going from the small green PCB behind your panel into which the eDP cable from your motherboard plugs into delaminating itself from the panel. you could try to carefully heat the attachment points up but its sadly not something that is easy or reliable to fix unless you swap the panel.
