closed 2 firefox windows worth of tabs to maybe fix this i hope

@ezio i should probably do that, my browser is being slow

@nay its not just nmy browser, firefox and kde have been randoml;y freezing and being slow after being open for a while and i dont know why

especially kde like i click shutdown and it takes like 5 minutes to open the shutdown thing

@ezio i was experiencing that a couple of upgrades ago but it seems fine atm as of the past days

@ezio sigkilling plasmashell fixed it but that’s def not a long-term solution

@nay i just upgraded recently so now i gotta wait for kde to fart out an update and fix it

@ezio @nay are you running out of memory? I find that firefox (or rather icecat, which is just rebranded firefox esr) will just keep eating memory until my system becomes unusably slow and freezes because I don't have any swap and I have to manually invoke the oom killer with sysrq f (I should probably set up swap, there's an extra 32GB SSD in my laptop that I'm not using for anything, but I stopped using swap on my previous laptop because it would start swapping unnecessarily and that would make the system really slow)

@noisytoot @nay i dont think so, i check each time it happens and its only using like 9gb total of my 32gb of ram
