What you are referring to as "Tux" is in fact more accurately "Tux/Xenia", or as I've recently taken to calling it, "Tuxenia"

@cwebber i would really read a comic series where Xenia and tux go for adventures together but tux always steals the spot (or maybe someday she gets her revenge)

@gwenthekween @cwebber is it appropriate that I just went down a rabbit hole investigating a fox?

@cwebber what amazes me is everyone remembers the gag just that way. But I think he only said it that way a few times.

Like, I get the joke but I'm also scared that an entire generation of software rights can so easily be distilled into a one liner.

Totally not your fault, but to quote Gurtrude Stien:

We are all a lost generation.

@kelson @cwebber no, you should’ve gone down a fox hole

@bkuhn @cwebber I'm still personally saddened that as much as that was mocked at the time (and misquoted, etc), Android has proven it to be true. But people still stick to their bad arguments.

@cwebber xenia was actually the xenix mascot, hence the name

@keverets it's more complicated than that.

Software Freedom can't be found in vocabulary.
