mornyan~
today's plan: finish packing and drive from a coruΓ±a to as far into france as possible β
(and then find a place to sleep)
made it to near gijΓ³n/oviedo
having cofe and some food because I lost the ability to pay attention some 20 minutes ago...
made it to france and taking another break
guess i should put in like, 2 hours more and call it a day
checked in in a hotel near bordeaux
that's about as far as i had hoped to get
tomorrow i'm losing an hour or two, but i think i *should* be fine...
left bordeaux this morning after having to do some unexpected shopping, but i'm still good on time~
why are french gas pumps stupid though
almost all of them seem to be pre-payment...
@nico this does not seem to be a serious problem in any other country, what's happening
taking a break just outside paris
gotta figure out how to bypass that place despite maps forcing me there
@jessew well for one i don't want to drive through paris
for two i cannot because LEZ
i figured it out
moreover places around paris have names that all sound like a huge shitpost, like noisy-le-grand and bussy-saint-georges
@q66 If you allow me to give you a suggestion: be conservative with your gas level when in France. Gas stations are much more scattered there than in Spain (at least on highways).
I committed the mistake of letting my tank empty too much once in France, then stumbled upon a station with construction works that wouldnβt let me in (so I missed it), andβ¦ had to stop the car before completely draining the tank (to avoid damage) and call road assistance.
Not happening again, ever.
@cinnamon they seem a little more frequent actually? like every 20-30km you have a rest stop just outside highway (without having to visit a village) and most of them have gas...
@Skirmisher no? normally you fill up your gas and go pay to the cashier in the shop
got a room for the night in lille β
so i'm still good on timing...
mornyan~
gonna get to my destination today but for now having breakfast
