also i guess i'm kinda tired of a lot of projects and stuff just being so spineless
i *will* post whatever i want, and act on it
i absolutely don't care if it alienates terrible people, or if it doesn't seem "professional", or whatever
i want to put interests of beings i care about first, no matter what
@q66 i immediately followed the chimera linux and your account (linked in its bio) upon seeing that post. someone who is willing to take that stance is worth so much more than mere technical considerations to me
@hipsterelectron well the ironic thing with these people is that it's always very obvious they can't code for shit in practice, so not even their own arguments hold
and of course, they are disingenuous
they are not here to "avoid politics" or for "innovation" or for "free speech"
they are here to cultivate their conveniently toxic/cruel environment they dwell in and want to destroy whatever would threaten that
@q66 I am seriously considering switching from Alpine to Chimera mostly because of the active antifascism.
There are also other compelling reasons (FreeBSD userland), but the recent post reminded me of Chimera's existence.
@sinza the alpine/pmos beings are cool, they are good friends and i like them~
of course, you can use whatever you prefer and if you end up using chimera that's great
