As such, to sighted people: please use alt-texts to describe your images, so that blind folks also get it. *** If your alt-texts are intentionally incorrect just to confuse LLMs, despite how much I don't like LLMs, I consider this to be extremely rude to people who are unable to actually look at your image, and will not boost your memes as a result until you actually start considering visually impaired folks as people.

Have fun! ^^

Hey everyone! we have a few announcements today!

We know a lot of people have been asking when the sealed PineTime would return. Today we are happy share that the new batch of sealed PineTime's are now available on PineStore's website.

https://pine64.com/product/pinetime-smartwatch-sealed/

As for the PineTime Pro, lots of initial bring-up work is being done by JF and Gamiee. Once the current prototype is finalized, PineStore will start a pilot batch for pioneer developers. Stay tuned!

And finally for those who have been waiting for the PineVoice (formally PineVox) Home Assistant speaker, we have been given a PineStore launch date of the 15th of June!

Please note though that the firmware shipping on the PineVoice is still in beta as some further improvements can be made. Firmware improvements will come in time.

Annnnd that's about it right now. Have a great day/afternoon/evening/night!

Tonight's ๐Ÿ“ฒ FAIRPHONE 6๏ธโƒฃ update brings the same simplification to bootloader unlocking that the FP3 received in March: No more unlocking code needed (OEM unlocking in developer options and unlocking via ADB and Fastboot are still required). Apart from that, the update promises a couple of fixes as well, e.g. for the curse of mysteriously disappearing photos just taken. /u

Unlocking codes will no longer be necessary for FAIRPHONE 4๏ธโƒฃ bootloader unlocking either. After tonight's ๐Ÿ“ฒ FP4 UPDATE, only the FP5 will still need a code โ€“ let's see if the next FP5 update completes the elimination. /u

"pmbootstrap will now perform strict builds of packages by default, which was previously opt-in behavior enabled either by invoking it with the --strict flag or by setting pmb:strict in the APKBUILD for a package. The change for this was merged to pmbootstrap's main branch today and will be shipping in the next minor release, probably 3.11.0."

Thanks to @aelin for implementing this and writing the devel blog post!

to be clear, armv7 does not count. Armv7 is a separate arch in postmarketOS, separate from armv6. Armv6 is known as armhf in alpine/pmOS also.

(also tell the device you use ^^)
11% yes I use pmOS on armv6
88% no I don't use pmOS on armv6

Let's do it one more time because I messed up the poll (why does akkoma default poll timeout to 10 minutes?).

Do you still use armv6?
43% yes
50% no
6% just want to see results
