I miss old Mac OS X, I miss all of this. I tried OS X back when Yosemite was still a new thing, so I could only use Mavericks in a VM. I miss when software looked cool.
Can we please go back to cool stuff? Can we start making a reimplementation of older Mac OS X in "a style of RedStar OS" or something?

soller@floss.socialThere's still some weirdness but I have mate-session running on Redox. We now have GTK, X11, wayland, d-bus, and dconf ported (though there are still some bugs). With these fundamentals in place, porting software from Linux has become much easier.

benjojo@benjojo.co.ukThe Sony PlayStation Consoles are the most successful distribution of FreeBSD, this is likely obvious when you think about it, but when I look at bgp.tools traffic I see about 7x more traffic from the PS5 than (real) browsers running from FreeBSD.
I don't know who decides to use bgp.tools on their PS5/PS4, but more power to you I guess
