"Sideloading" is the rentseeker word for "being able to run software of your choosing on a computing device you purchased". There is no reasonable case for an operating system developer having a say over what programs you run on your hardware.

I've had a bit more time to play with @postmarketOS.

It is a joy.

I must look at how I can contribute, as this is a massively useful project, which I can see liberating numerous devices from outdated OSs in the future.

@justsoup I also feel that it is a kind and respectful space. I really enjoy working on postmarketOS and FLOSS in general, it allows me to work with extremely kind people, with different POVs and sometimes different technical background, of which you are absolutely a part of. And they got the message out, that "no matter who you are, you will always be welcome" (with the usual exceptions of course).
