Neither does the #GNU #GPL. You're perfectly free to not publish things.

@amszmidt @jbz you're right. The GNU GPL only forces you to upload the source to *other* users you share your binary with.

But if you just took a GPL project and modified it just for yourself, you are absolutely fine not sharing the source.
