>disconnect and reconnect usb stick
>add 10G fat32 partition
>copy the tar there
>connect usb to phone
>"there is a problem with this device"
>phone reformats the usb drive as fucking exfat because fuck you I guess android phones somehow can't read fucking fat32
>"whatever, I'll just copy the file again"
>I don't have exfat drivers
>I am now recompiling my kernel which takes fucking ages because it is built with clang and full LTO
>the screen of my laptop keeps randomly turning off
WHAT IF when I plugged the fucking thing in to the other thing it just worked like EVERY COMPUTER EVER? why are smartphones so hard to use? this has taken like 20 minutes at this point. how hard is it to just send a file
like actually how is it this fucking hard to just send a file
this is like the most basic operation possible between two computers
>connect exfat formatted usb stick with the .tar.gz to phone
>open the files
>click the tar.gz
>it opens the ebooks app?
>phone sends a notification asking to be restarted
how the hell do you extract a .tar.gz on a smartphone
@0x6e6174 y'know, I usually just use something like fluxer/discord, tempfile website, or google drive.
