• darkmode
• rounded corners
• Icons before headings
• absurdly large fonts

… and also being completely meaningless. I mean, what IS that site even about? I cannot tell from the screenshot – at all.

@dirk that may be because the screenshot isn't of the whole website, only of the most silly part.

the main audience of the screenshot is people who already know what EFnet is, so that they may witness the irony.

(it's a 30+ year old chat network, one of the largest IRC networks at some point in history – its operators necessarily are quite technologically capable people, so them letting AI rebuild their entire website seems to me precisely the sort of "lamer" or "script kiddie" behavior they allegedly don't have on their network.)
