Can you use chopsticks?

@gavi No, but I can teach people to use chopsticks. It's kinda dumb.

@gavi I learned this as a teen out of pure curiosity, despite the fact I never need to use chopsticks! We do keep some in the house though, just in case we have guests who would prefer to eat that way.

Every now and then, I do eat a meal with the chopsticks just to make sure I retain the knack.

@gavi I taught 2 people how to use chopsticks, guiding their hands into the exact motion to do it, and yet I can't 😭😭

@gavi they're both more fun and more difficult to use than forks/spoons. I once tried to eat a bowl of slices of melon once using butterknives as chopsticks (there were no clean forks or spoons) (it didn't work very well). I also tried to eat some pasta once using coffee stirrers as chopsticks (I bought some pasta from a shop but they didn't have any spoons or forks, only free wooden coffee stirrer things) (it also didn't work very well, they were too flimsy and I ended up just using them to scrape the pasta to the edge of the plastic container and into my mouth)
