wtf why does updating the instance document break all media loading on akkoma-fe? very weird

in case someone else encounters this: force-reloading only fixes it temporarily (if you reload normally it'll be broken again), a more permanent solution without having to log out and log back in is to unregister the service worker in about:serviceworkers (assuming you use firefox or one of its forks)
