hi fedi uhh i'm looking for a specific website that would give me block lists of an entire ASN's IP addresses

it specifically had an output format of ipset and would give you a text file to copy and execute to add each IP to a ipset and block that ipset using iptables

does anyone know which one i'm talking about

@kemona_halftau @niko it's not that hard to get one (also ARIN is literally giving IPv6 /16s to banks for internal usage for some reason (and the Mormons have a /20))

@niko given that IP to ASN mapping change regularly, do not do this unless you have an automated update process

@niko Ripe has an API endpoint for listing the prefixes: https://stat.ripe.net/docs/data-api/api-endpoints/as-routing-consistency

With that you could hack together something that puts it in the format you need it to be.

@niko There are tons of them, e.g. https://asnlookup.com/

I'm not sure I understand the question well.
