i think i should just set my default post visibility to followers-only

i think i’ll gradually start doing this for more and more of my posts until it’s just my most-used visibility, then i’ll set it to that by default (this might take months to years)

@kemona_halftau followers only posts (fops ()) would be more useful if reply visibility was fixed (so replies are visible to the original poster’s followers, rather than only to the replier’s followers, which results in disjointed threads for anyone who follows some participants in a followers-only thread but not others) (the activitypub spec explicitly mentions this problem and provides a solution, but nobody seems to implement it properly)

@kemona_halftau actually if real activitypub implementations implement inbox forwarding correctly, fixing this would seem to be as simple as adding the original poster's followers connection to replies: why has nobody done this?
