There’s a breaker for the light and single outlet in the hallway, a breaker for the entire living room, a breaker between the two bedrooms, but each of the four kitchen outlets gets its own breaker. neofox_woozy

@maddy its typical for the kitchen to get multiple breakers since there tends to be a lot of high-draw devices there (microwave, fridge, electric kettle, etc)

@ielenia Yeah, that makes sense, it’s just so comical when compared to the rest of the electrical setup.

@maddy i know code says  one outlet every 12 feet in any living space but didn't say anything about breakers

@maddy we don't even have a separate breaker for the kitchen (there are three 32A rings, one for the kitchen and back bedroom, one for everywhere else downstairs, and one for everywhere else upstairs (and also three 6A rings for lighting))
