If someone gives you shit for crimping Cat5/6/whatever with passthrough ends because they’re ‘too easy’, you have my permission to punch them squarely in the ear.

@maddy the only context in which this is a valid complaint is if you're in a cat* crimping competition (is that a thing?) and passthrough connectors are against the rules

@maddy I discovered these passthrough connectors last year and it changed my life

@maddy I only have one fear with the passthroughs - exposed ends? How would they behave in a connector with metallic back - shorting?

Other than that, they’ve been absolutely lovely.

@maddy I couldn't even find any non-passthrough plugs when I last ordered. I had to decommission my old crimping tool. Long live passthrough.
