I booted a multi-core capable OS and I am missing a core, what gives?

This is expected. CSMWrap reserves 1 core for “system” use due to the limitations of running out-of-firmware and not being able to use SMM (System Management Mode).

@nyanpasu64 i’ve been thinking about this all morning. what would they need SMM for. originally BIOS stuff just runs in real mode… and what happens if you’re not on an SMP machine??
