gnome is actually becoming less bad
i might try it out again in a couple months (i doubt it’ll be usable for me as my primary desktop environment but i feel it is unfair to say something is unusable without at least trying it)

i still dont think i’ll enjoy gnome mainly because i dont like their design philosophies, and i doubt those will change, but i at least want to try again

@kemona_halftau does it support server side decorations on wayland yet? I feel it is entirely fair to call it unusable for that reason alone (since client side decorations are an inadequate alternative for anything not using gtk), and unless something has changed and they implemented server side decorations it had actually become worse since they dropped X11 (which supported server side decorations)
